I get asked so many times about HMO licenses in Liverpool and is one required.
Well the answer is…
It depends what you buy. We operate on the 2 storey 5 bed strategy which means no license. 3 storeys or more the one is required.
This is what Liverpool City council say on their site
HMO licences for houses with multiple private tenants
In order to ensure multiple occupancy homes are of a decent standard, landlords will need an HMO licence if a property has Three or more storeys (this includes cellars, basements and loft conversions).
Five or more tenants forming more than one household
Take advantage of a 5 bed HMO with a NO VOID tenancy with our unique corporate tenant from just £50,000 and net rental of £1,000 PCM
